Below are a list of great kid-friendly websites for you to explore at home with your child! Many of these your child will be able to navigate independently. Have fun! :)

- ABCya! ABCya! Kindergarten children's computer games & activities feature large and easy-to-use navigation buttons as well as voice instructions. Games and activities include: alphabetical order, upper-case and lower-case letters, counting numbers, connect the dots, numerical order, shapes, additon, e-storybooks and holiday games.
- FunBrain Fun math and reading games for kids.
- Highlights Kids: read, play games, and conduct cool science experiments!
- Starfall A great website full of leveled literacy activities (we use this in the classroom a lot!)
- Sight Word Bingo This is a super fun game where kids can practice their sight words. I would recommend the pre-primer level to start.
- Clifford's First Sound Word Sort Directions and words are read to the child.
- Alphabet Action Click on the letters to hear it's name and see a picture.
- ABC Order Find the missing letter.
- Clifford's Sound Match Drag the pictures that begin with the same sound into a box. The words and directions are read to the child.
- Clifford's Make a Word Insert the correct vowel to create CVC words (consonant-vowel-consonant). The words and directions are read to the child.
- Sounding Out Word Games: This site has a variety of games that focus mainly on CVC words and basic phonemic awareness.
- Into the Book: go "into the book" to play games and practice reading strategies
- Everyday Math Games games that correlate directly with our curriculum
- PBS Kids Math Games: a variety of games on the PBS website
- Kindergarten Math: This website has a variety of worksheets, videos, songs, and online games for students to play based on the skill (counting to 30 for example)
- National Library of Virtual Manipulatives: use all sorts of virtual manipulatives (bar graph, money, number lines, spinners, etc.)
- Soft Schools: games by skill (addition, subtraction, measuring, etc.)
- Cool Math for Kids: fun games on all skills- not categorized by grade level
- Tangrams: use virtual tangrams to create pictures/create shapes out of other shapes
- Common Core Specific : games are divided up by math strand and indicator- perfect to hit a particular skill (we cover ALL of these standards in Kindergarten)
- Place Value Practice: a variety of games to work on number place value
